Today Ann and Franz went out for a long tandem ride, our last chance to ride before heading north tomorrow. We decided to do the route we are planning for the Tour de Franz next month. That is a club ride we are doing to celebrate Franz reaching a new milestone, agewise.

We ended up with 66 miles and nearly 5,000 feet of climbing. We started from our home and headed around the resivour, then stopped in Morgan Hill for lunch.  Following lunch we headed across town and then up Henry Coe, to the State Park headquarters. After a fast decent we had a fast pace back home (with a nice tailwind). The total time was just over 5 and 1/2 hours.

It was a fun ride.
